Victoria Paris, inductee of the 1997 Adult Video News Hall of Fame, died during her on-screen career in more than 100 X films. She's sixty.

Paris was born into the porn industry of Sheila Young in Great Falls, Montana, and died on Tuesday following a fight against cancer, AVN fellow Hall of Famer Christy Canyon confirmed for adults in the industry.

After a degree in Nutrition from Montana State University, she reportedly went to the screen with her big-haired Buxom Blonde before relocating to LA, where she part-time worked as secretary, mud wrestler and nude model before filming her first XXX name, "Girls of Double D 7" in 1988. In a Porn parody "Live In, Love In," she won her first starring role next year, opposite her former married Robert Bullock, at "Three's Company."

The only prize in the history of AVN awards, often hyped as "Porta industry oscars," is the prize for the Best New Starlet Award in Paris in 1990, awarded to fellow porn legend Tori Welles.

Filmmaker Axel, who wrote the movie "Fantasy Night" in Paris in 1990, reminded her of the performer as a cut above her fellows.

"I specifically wrote the lead for her, since she was very sophisticated and had an aura of innocence perfectly in tune with my story," Braun continued. "Once I met her at the table, when she first reads, she told me, like me, not to drink, smoke and drugs, something that was very unusual at times, and then I noticed that she had been extremely professional, personable and carefully prepared.

Over time at the Cannes Film Festival, Braun told AVN that he "bumped in her because she enjoyed the finest things in life, so she liked to travel. And she was one from my knowledge of her."

Paris is the latest in an increasingly downbeat series of porn stars.

Dakota Skye, the 27-year-old adult star who was trolled online earlier this year for topless pics on a wall by George Floyd, was found dead in a fentanyl addiction trailer in Los Angeles in June.

Described by loved ones as a "lovely soul," in July, after long fighting with stage four breast cancer, Dahlia Sky died of apparent suicide, and weakening depression.

Meanwhile, Kristina Lisina – popularly known as "Kris the Foxx" as a Pornhub and only fan star – headlined in the 22nd floor of the high-rise building in St Petersbourg, Russia after a fatal and horrific fall.
