As Ethan writes on his blog, Brandon was a lover of nature, a talented athlete, and an involved member of the Community Church of Crosspointe. His interests consisted of hunting, fishing and tennis.
Before joining the HGTV show as a producer and videographer, Brandon worked for Black Horn Productions, a firm located in Laurel.
