End of a terrifying series of posts by a Canadian nurse who had been discovered dead after describing assault on the COVID-19 frontline.

In the weeks following her account of her experiences working on the pandemic frontline, a Canadian nurse caring with COVID-19 patients in intensive care died.

Calgary South Health Campus nurse Season Foremsky, a mother and wife, passed away last week. Despite the fact that her death has yet to be determined, family members informed CTV News that she had a history of drug and alcohol problems.

When the COVID-19 epidemic broke out in the United States, she was working on the front lines of the fight against it.

Foremsky said in a lengthy blog post on September 17 that during Calgary's second lockdown, "people started to grow upset.

She was subsequently transferred to an intensive care unit for further treatment.

"Despite the conspiracy theories and the people who 'claimed their rights,' I continued to do my work," she stated.

While on AHS TV, I couldn't stomach the terrible remarks people made, but I still delivered the best treatment I could. "I received my first immunization in December.

We've just finished "the best summer ever," and now we're frightened. All of us were prepared for this surge and are now suffering from PTSD, medical leave, and even contemplating quitting because we all knew it was coming.

"What the public doesn't know is the scenarios around what I see," she continued, detailing the realities of her job.

In my 40s, I see a husband and wife die days apart, PREVIOUSLY healthy, after they gave each other COVID.

According to an another blog post from the same day, she had been working 60-hour weeks and was beginning to feel burned out.

Everywhere, our healthcare system is on the verge of disintegrating completely. While the nurses may appear exhausted, rest assured that we are DONE. Instead of burned out, RRTs are completely done. Everyone in the healthcare industry has been vanquished, including emergency medical services (EMS), medical technicians (MTs), doctors, and PCTs (personal care technicians)."

When I say I'm always short-staffed, I mean dangerously so. However, nothing has changed, and if anything, they want us to go backwards instead. My life has been a daily nightmare for the last year.

Extremely high levels of pressure and stress

An Alberta Health Services CEO recognized that "our frontline physicians and nurses are under significant stress and pressure" during a press conference on Thursday, local time.

"The pandemic is having a physical and psychological impact on individuals and our teams."

Throughout this long and difficult pandemic, our workers have worked diligently to provide care for Albertans.

AHS chief Yiu said the organization was doing everything it could to support front-line healthcare workers in the coming months.

This news has devastated my heart. My love left this earth on September 27th and I'm in shock," he wrote in a Facebook post after learning of her death. When it came to seeing and being loved like no one else, you made me feel truly noticed and unique.

It was a blessing to have had the time we did, and I'll miss you endlessly. I'll see you in heaven with all the Angels."
