Juan Cuellar fatally shot Doris Aguilar in an Arizona parking lot
Chilling Murder-Suicide: Stalker Hunts Down and Kills Young Woman Before Ending His Own Life in Arizona Parking Lot
In a horrifying revelation, two decomposing bodies found in a car in an Arizona parking lot were identified as missing 25-year-old fitness fanatic Doris Aguilar and her obsessed 51-year-old stalker, Juan Cuellar. Authorities confirmed that Cuellar brutally shot Aguilar before turning the gun on himself.
The gruesome discovery, made on July 7 near Phoenix, unveiled a sinister plot as the bodies had been decaying in the car for days. Aguilar, missing since July 1, had desperately warned her loved ones about Cuellar’s unrelenting harassment.
Private investigator Steve Fischer, working with Aguilar's family, disclosed the chilling depth of Cuellar's fixation. After being fired from their shared workplace a year ago, Cuellar continued his campaign of terror, sending threatening messages and even changing gyms to keep up his stalking.
In a spine-tingling Facebook post on June 27, Cuellar ominously signaled his intentions: "Getting my Lifetime [gym] membership back. See you soon."
Authorities initially found Aguilar’s car unlocked with her belongings still inside on July 1. Six days later, the tragic discovery of the bodies in a rented sedan outside a steakhouse near her former gym pointed to a calculated trap by Cuellar. Evidence suggests Aguilar was killed elsewhere and her body moved to the car posthumously.
Cuellar left a note attempting to stage the scene as a suicide, but Fischer and local police are diligently piecing together the crime through surveillance footage and data from Aguilar's phone, which last pinged on July 1.
Phoenix Police Sgt. Rob Scherer and investigator Fischer are committed to uncovering the full details of this "sick and twisted" crime, shedding light on the dark obsession that led to this tragic end.
