Kegwin Clarke slaying Miles Gibson in Harbor Rooftop Terrace 11th Avenue
In New Jersey, police arrested a suspect in the murder of a Hell's Kitchen nightclub.
New Jersey authorities captured a fugitive wanted for the murder of a man in a high-end Hell's Kitchen club last month, prosecutors said.
According to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office, Kegwin Clarke, 26, was arrested early Saturday morning inside a Bayonne apartment during a search warrant.
Clarke was wanted in connection with the murder of Miles Gibson, 22, on January 29th at the Harbor Rooftop Terrace and Lounge on West 46th Street between 11th and 12th Avenues in New York City.
Gibson was stabbed to death in a Bronx club in 2019 while on bail for the alleged murder of a DJ.
It was discovered during a Saturday search of Clarke's apartment that authorities had uncovered two handguns with extended magazine ammo and a large amount of marijuana, prosecutors said.
The Manhattan District Attorney's Office filed murder charges against Clarke. Aside from the weapons and drug possession charges in New Jersey, he is also accused of numerous other crimes.
Remanded in custody at the Hudson County Correctional Facility, the murder suspect is awaiting extradition to the city of New York.
