For striking Carbone workers, former Giant Luke Petitgout was arrested and his friend pulled a revolver.
former Giants player Luke Petitgout was arrested early Sunday morning in Miami after a fistfight with waitstaff that ended with his friend, James Philip Bruner, pulling a gun on staff.
Petitgout and his friend, according to the arrest document supplied to Page Six by Miami Beach police, "caused a disturbance with the restaurant's staff, which prevented them from completing their closing processes." "There was a physical altercation between the defendants and the restaurant's workers."
Petitgout "hit" three victims "with a closed fist" during the altercation, while another alleged that he "purposefully shoved him" during the altercation, according to police reports.
In the scuffle, Bruner "pulled a pistol and pointed it directly at him," according to one staffer at the restaurant, whose original New York location is cherished by Rihanna and the Hadid sisters among others."
In the report, the incident was captured on a cell phone by a witness.
Each of the two men were escorted to the police station where they were processed before being sent to the Turner Giulford Knight Correctional Facility (TGKCC).
It's no secret that Petitgout has had his share of run-ins with the cops. While out with Jennifer Petitgout and John Constantinides in Midtown, he allegedly slapped her and punched John Constantinides. He was sentenced to prison in 2015. An NYC criminal court trial found him guilty of harassment, but not assault.
After a separate incident in which he reportedly sexually assaulted his ex-wife and choked her, he was sentenced to one year of probation and anger treatment in 2016.
And on his wedding anniversary, he was arrested for hitting his ex-wife in the head with her pocketbook and flinging it out of the window of the moving car in 2013. There was a dismissal of the allegations against her.
Police in New Jersey allegedly arrested him in 2016 while he was inebriated and carrying cocaine, amphetamines, steroids, marijuana and ethylone, a hallucinogenic amphetamine designer drug. He was sentenced to probation for three years.
After graduating from Notre Dame in 1999, Petitgout played with the New York Giants from 1999 to 2006, before going to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, when he was suspended for steroid use. He played one season for the Buccaneers.
On the incident, Carbone declined to make a statement.
There was no response from the last known lawyer for Petitgout at the time of publication.
